Dr. Hall is Board Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery (ABPS) and has special certification in Surgical Treatment of the Ankle from the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners (LSBME). For three years he has served on the Board of Directors for the Louisiana Podiatric Medical Association (LPMA).
Dr. Hall was privileged to co-author two chapters in the recently published 4th edition of McGlamry’s Comprehensive Textbook of Foot and Ankle Surgery—the signature academic textbook in his profession. He has also authored articles on bunion and flatfoot surgery in the Journal of Foot and Ankle surgery and is a regular contributor at the LPMA’s annual academic conference.
A runner for two decades, Dr. Hall has completed races at the marathon and half-marathon distance, in addition to Sprint and Olympic distance triathlons. His commitment to running greatly aids his ability to relate with and treat runners and endurance athletes across all levels of experience.
Dr. Hall is a native of Baton Rouge and a graduate of University High School. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in English-Literature from Spring Hill College in Mobile, AL, while also completing a Pre-medical course work.
Dr. Hall received his Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine (DPM) from Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. Following this, he spent three years in Atlanta, GA acquiring residency training in advanced foot and ankle surgery at the prestigious DeKalb Medical / Podiatry Institute Surgical Residency. He remains active in The Podiatry Institute by lecturing at national meetings and leading surgical skills courses.
