Alan C. Farries, M.D.
Dr. Farries received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Louisiana State University. He received his Medical Degree from Louisiana State University Medical School in New Orleans, Louisiana. He completed an internship program at Confederate Memorial Hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana. In addition, he also completed an orthopaedic residency in 1968 from Confederate Memorial Hospital. He was certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery in 1970. Dr. Farries has served as Chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at both Baton Rouge General Medical Center and Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He has served as an instructor and surgeon for the Handicapped Children's Service.
